As a gay man who has supported the campaign of Ron Paul, I cannot say that I am thrilled with his choice orfendorsement. I do however understand his concerns pertaining to Bob Barr. It seems that the Powers that be have yet again usurp the 3rd parties (Barr being former CIA). But that is nothing new. The original Constitution Party (started in the mid 1990's) name was stolen by the U.S. Taxpayer party.

I consider this a betrayal by Paul. Dominionists hate America and can go to Hell as far as I'm concerned.

[...] On September 22, Congressman Ron Paul publicly gave me his endorsement for the office of President of the United States. In his blog at the Campaign for Liberty web site, he said, “I’m supporting Chuck Baldwin, the Constitution Party candidate.” (See the complete statement here) [...]

I enjoyed the Press Club. It was nice to see a few old friends from the Ron Paul campaign. But not too many people will be voting for Mr. Moral Majority. Most people who want to legislate morality will be voting for Sarah Palin. They think she is running for President and they like the way she pops out babies like an out of control breeding animal.

I will support Chuck Baldwin.

I'm not a fan of Baldwin because he was head of the Moral Majority in Florida, was friends with Jerry Falwell, and is a Baptist Minister. That being said, I don't think Bob Barr can really be trusted. I know long time Libertarians who have followed the guy, and they don't trust his 180 turn on positions.

I don't believe morality should be legislated, but Chuck Baldwin wants to bring all the troops home from Iraq, place them on the border, get rid of NAFTA and all other rigged trade agreements, and Chuck Baldwin wants to raise the tariffs against China that were lowered by Bill Clinton.

As Lou Dobbs pointed out in War On The Middle Class, the US has a 3% tariff against China on most goods while China has a 25% tariff against the US.

China also requires a business to build a physical presence in China so you employ Chines workers before you can sell your products there.

If these policies work so well for China, they will work for the U.S.

The Libertarian Party has to cease nominating lack-luster candidates with no organizational or financial base. Who is Chuck Baldwin? Can he mount any type of effective campaign at all?

I've been waiting for this announcement!

I'm a Ron Paul supporter who has been a life-time Republican. This will be the first time since 1968 that I will not cast a vote for the Republican nominee.

I don't know Mr Baldwin, but I intend to correct that. If Paul supports him, he must have like views and I look forward to getting to know those positions.

Perhaps Bob Barr doesn't want to except that Dr. Ron Paul is the true leader of neo-American Revolution. GO RON PAUL

I knew this was coming after Barr's harsh rhetoric against Paul. I will be voting for Chuck Baldwin this election and am very excited to be represented by a real conservative alternative to John McCain's very left of center and poor stance on foreign and domestic policies (especially illegal immigration).
