Fourth of July marked by anti-tax Tea Parties
Fourth of July “Tea Party” rallies, picnics, marches and other demonstrations were scheduled across the country Saturday to protest what organizers say is record federal spending and taxes by the Obama administration that enlarges government and threatens the nation’s prosperity.

Researchers in Britain have discovered a rare original copy of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, just as Americans are getting ready to mark July 4 Independence Day holiday.

July 4th is the day that Americans celebrate the birth date of the United States, the day that our founding fathers drafted the official document – the Declaration of Independence – penning the grievances and citing the motivations that contributed to our breaking free from authoritarian British rule.
