Have you noticed something rather odd about Obama’s seizure of America’s health care system? This odd little fact has been hiding, as they say, in plain sight. The only people who are really pushing this government takeover of health care are “activists” or politicians. There is absolutely no public pressure to get this done.
Why so fast? It’s depressing that Americans either don’t care or are unable to connect some simple dots. Remember Rahm Emmanuel’s proclamation that the Obama administration should not “let a good crisis go to waste”? It doesn’t matter, you see, that the American people aren’t clamoring for government health care. What matters is that the Democrats have the opportunity to seize control of one-sixth of the American economy, and they’re going to do whatever they can to get it done. The biggest thing that the fascist Democrats have going for them right now is our economic downturn. There’s your crisis. Now you take advantage of it … you don’t let it go to waste.
Come on now … how many of you believe Obama when he says that the key to solving our economic crisis is to reform health care? Who is he kidding? The key to our crisis is to somehow cleanse our financial institutions of these toxic assets they’re carrying (courtesy of the federal government) and get the banks lending and the people spending again. Health care plays no role here, but the Democrats want this power – this control – so they’re using your economic angst to talk you into supporting their takeover of almost 20% of our economy.
We had better wake up, my friends. There are at least three inevitable results of this Democrat grab for power:
- Higher taxes and costs for everyone,
- Rationing of health care
- A decrease in the quality of our health care
Better fight this now – once they get the power you won’t have a prayer.
AMERICA’S NATIONAL HEALTHCARE EMERGENCY!
It’s official. America and the World are now in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. A World EPIDEMIC with potential catastrophic consequences for ALL of the American people. The first PANDEMIC in 41 years. And WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES will have to face this PANDEMIC with the 37th worst quality of healthcare in the developed World.
STAND READY AMERICA TO SEIZE CONTROL OF YOUR NATIONAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEM.
We spend over twice as much of our GDP on healthcare as any other country in the World. And Individual American spend about ten times as much out of pocket on healthcare as any other people in the World. All because of GREED! And the PRIVATE FOR PROFIT healthcare system in America.
And while all this is going on, some members of congress seem mostly concern about how to protect the corporate PROFITS! of our GREED DRIVEN, PRIVATE FOR PROFIT NATIONAL DISGRACE. A PRIVATE FOR PROFIT DISGRACE that is in fact, totally valueless to the public health. And a detriment to national security, public safety, and the public health.
Progressive democrats the Tri-Caucus and others should stand firm in their demand for a robust government-run public option for all Americans, with all of the minimum requirements progressive democrats demanded. If congress can not pass a robust public option with at least 51 votes and all robust minimum requirements, congress should immediately move to scrap healthcare reform and request that President Obama declare a state of NATIONAL HEALTHCARE EMERGENCY! Seizing and replacing all PRIVATE FOR PROFIT health insurance plans with the immediate implementation of National Healthcare for all Americans under the provisions of HR676 (A Single-payer National Healthcare Plan For All).
Coverage can begin immediately through our current medicare system. With immediate expansion through recruitment of displaced workers from the canceled private sector insurance industry. Funding can also begin immediately by substitution of payroll deductions for private insurance plans with payroll deductions for the national healthcare plan. This is what the vast majority of the American people want. And this is what all objective experts unanimously agree would be the best, and most cost effective for the American people and our economy.
In Mexico on average people who received medical care for A-H1N1 (Swine Flu) with in 3 days survived. People who did not receive medical care until 7 days or more died. This has been the same results in the US. But 50 million Americans don’t even have any healthcare coverage. And at least 200 million of you with insurance could not get in to see your private insurance plans doctors in 2 or 3 days, even if your life depended on it. WHICH IT DOES!
If President Obama has to declare a NATIONAL STATE OF EMERGENCY to rescue the American people from our healthcare crisis, he will need all the sustained support you can give him. STICK WITH HIM! He’s doing a brilliant job.

We the people that put the President and other officals in office want for them to do what they promised before they were running for office. We want the public option and nothing less. It is time that we have the voice and not the insurance companys. I have paid out insurance for yrs. and never used it. Now that I need it the deductable it went sky high and now that I’m no longer able to work and only have my husbands insurance. My last surgery I had to pay 6,000.00 out of my own pocket. That is with good insurence that they are all saying that we have in this country and I am one of the lucky ones, but what happens if my husband a construction worker doesn’t work again like last yr. for 8 months out of the year and has no banked money in his program to pay for his insurance. We have already went through our savings since I lost my job two yrs. ago because of my health issues and no one will hire me. I was a Retail Sales Director and when I had back surgery and it didn’t go so well, I was basicly pushed into going back to work for the threat that I wouldn’t have one if I didn’t. But just 2 months later let go because I wouldn’t transfer to another store and drive one and a half hour one way to work and then work a sixteen hour day. Now I have no job and no income and before when my husband of 32 yrs. would get layed off for any lenght of time I was able to keep us a float untill the next job came and now I am not able to get a job in this economy and with my health issues. All I need now is to also have to worry about being like alot of other people out thier that loss thier health insurance. And like I said even with good union care insurance it’s not what it use to be and if you have one surgery it can wipe you out and you loose all of your savings. We are a very conseritive family when it comes to spending and don’t have credit card debt, we own our home and cars but even then the cost of food and utilities out of control inflation, we live day to day and it is scary and I pray for all of the families that arn’t as luck as we are, to own our own home and arn’t sinking in debt. but we could still be them if the Country doesn’t get health care in this country under control. I am one more surgery from losing my home and am afraid to have the test done that the doctors want done because I don’t have the money to pay the thirty percent that has to come out of my pocket. To all of the Congressmen out there that say they havn’t meet a person that wasn’t not happy about thier health care send them this note. Our nation is in DIRE NEED of a National Health Care single pay system.
A person in a mental & physically abusive marriage can not divorce because her abusive husband’s insurance covers her cancer. She can not get insurance — called “pre-existing.” 29 years old, third bout with cancer, staying in an abusive marriage because his ‘insurance’ is the only coverage she has/can get.
A mother with four small children came into a MD’s office with her sick children. She was told to go to the emergency room. She told them she had just spent 6 hours in an emergency room that denied her treatment without insurance, and told her to go to a doctor’s office. The doctor’s office told her they could not treat her four sick children without insurance (one-infant, three-toddlers) – she would have to pay $400.00 up-front to see the doctor. She didn’t have $400. to seek treatment for her children.
An employee’s company went bankrupt. That family could not get insurance coverage. In 1982 the company’s insurance cost the family $350 monthly that JUMPED to $960 monthly with exemptions from any future connected health the insurance company deemed necessary.
My husband died in 1990. We were paying $350 monthly with a $500 deductable, that covered 80% up-to the first $5,000.00 beyond the deductable. In the 1-1/2 hours from onset-to-death the medical bill was $3,700. The insurance company paid only $324 of the $3,700 and stated “non-applicable” to the balance. The insurance agent said, “He didn’t care if I switched to another insurance company. Agents get 25% of every $100.00 in premiums paid,” unquote.
In 1984 I had to have double cataract surgery. The insurance company was contacted prior to surgery; they approved surgery, AFTER surgery we were informed by the insurance company they would not pay because I had to stay overnight for them to pay. Another person having cataract surgery spent the night in the hospital and was told by her insurance company they would not pay because the surgery was a ‘day surgery’.
Without insurance coverage, people are dieing. They can not get help nor have the money to pay doctors and hospitals…so they don’t go. PLEASE, don’t let these fear mongers paid upto $4million dollars by insurance companies to KILL THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (greed, lies, fear);
a single-pay health care system is GREATLY NEEDED for the citizens!!
