No way to the National ID card. There is no need for it and the detriments far outweigh the benefits. Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves with us just discussing it.

There's been discussion of REAL-ID leading to everyone having an ID card with RFID in it. This led to privacy and security concerns about the ID card's data being secretly read.
Smart Tools offers an RFID Shield that can turn off RFID for any card with RFID in it. This would include any REAL ID mandated ID card, driver's license or credit card. Turning RFID off and on is at the discretion of the card holder. This will protect privacy and relieve security concerns.
