I am serving my country by growing a company that actually produces something of value and by creating new jobs for Americans. If everyone follows Obama's advice and goes into the peace corps, social work, etc. instead of business and technology our country will drift more rapidly into a "has been" state than it already is, and we can say hello to the new super power: China. We need our best minds working in industry to solve the problems of tomorrow, compete in the global marketplace, and creating value for the future...not serving as baby sitters to the welfare state.

Obama is merely doing what Bush has failed to do. Obama is asking the American people to serve and to reward those who serve. There is nothing more patriotic then serving your fellow Americans. The troops should not be the only ones asked to should the burden of the war.
