SmallGovTimes.comFox News leaves Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter off of invite list By: SGT News | Published on 01/01/08 Fox News, the 24-hour cable television network that touts itself as “fair and balanced”, has refused to invite presidential candidates Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter to a round table discussion scheduled for this weekend, before New Hampshire voters make their way to the polls. Among those who did get invites are Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, John McCain and Fred Thompson. Paul supporters are understandably irate with Fox's decision to exclude the candidate that has managed to raise more than $20 million dollars in the forth quarter, and who polls consistently higher than invited guest Fred Thompson in the state of New Hampshire through the majority of polling sources. “Given Ron Paul’s support in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded,” said Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “ Snyder also said that the campaign is continuing to make inquiries to Fox News to determine the reason that Ron Paul has been excluded from the round table debate.
