Sheehan: Israel out of Palestine; Impeach Bush

By: Steve Adcock | Submitted on: 08/14/05

With the pretended gleam of authority and influence, Cindy Sheehan, the extreme activist protesting George Bush and the war in Iraq, has decided to broach a variety of other subjects, including calling for Israel to get out of Palestine and [surprise, surprise] the impeachment of George Bush.

Sheehan also threatened not to pay her taxes in retaliation for her son?s death in Iraq. "My son was killed in 2004. I am not paying my taxes for 2004. You killed my son, George Bush, and I don't owe you a penny...you give my son back and I'll pay my taxes. Come after me (for back taxes) and we'll put this war on trial."

Surely, this is not about money, is it Mrs. Sheehan? Your son is worth more, at least to this nation, than your taxes owed for 2004.

"You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you'll stop the terrorism," she exclaimed, clearly illustrating her grasp and understanding of worldly terrorism.

And finally, Sheehan calls for the impeachment of George Bush. "And now I'm going to use another 'I' word - impeachment - because we cannot have these people pardoned. They need to be tried on war crimes and go to jail."

As we reported last week, Sheehan's family understands and sympathizes with her frustration over her son's death, but pleads with her to stop the activism and honor her son's service to this country.

No word yet on a response from Washington or Sheehan's family.
