"Bumper sticker slogans" and a $400 hair cut

By: Marie Jon | Submitted on: 05/25/07

EDITORIAL - One of the leading Democrat candidates, known for his fabulously-coiffed hair, believes that we need not be concerned with the global Islamic fascists. Yes, presidential hopeful Senator John Edwards gives speeches that dramatically minimize what he calls "the Bush administration's War on Terror." He is certainly not an ignorant man, yet like other Democrats, he is willing to sell out America, Iraq, and our troops for his own political gain.

Immediately after the attacks of 9/11/01, most people understood that terrorism is real and not just a "bumper sticker slogan." However Se๑or Fancy Face is putting forth more than his share of far Left rhetoric — a lot of which is winding up posted all over new Islamic websites.

There is more than Al Jazeera on the Internet...

Let's bring Edwards back to the land of realism; apparently he spends too much time in front of the mirror to understand the world around him. This is the same man who has made poverty a central issue of his campaign. The crafty Democrat recently released his book, "Ending Poverty in America." With a title of such fairy tale grandiosity, it's no wonder many Americans can't take this man seriously.

Edward's credibility is lacking. He pampers himself with $400 haircuts. He lives a lavish former trial attorney's lifestyle that affords him a 28,000-square-foot home in North Carolina. John Edwards sees "two Americas," all right: yours and his.

Just wondering... Did anyone mention to Edwards that just weeks ago Fort Dix was targeted to become a bloodbath by radical Muslims?

The Duka brothers are practicing Muslims. They were born in the former Yugoslavia. They are illegal aliens. Abdullahu and Eljvir Duka, with the help of other, plotted to murder hundreds of soldiers at Fort Dix. Their parents once owned pizza pallor in Turnersville, New Jersey. How about that? Only 35 miles from Fort Dix. The pizza parlor was sold to a Mr. Tony Giordano, who is of Italian descent. "I had a brief encounter with" Dritan Duka, Giordano said. "They weren't the friendliest people, but then again, who would know something like that?"

Democrats are in "official" denial regarding the War on Terror for political gain; the radicals who are ready and able to do us harm here in the U.S. couldn't be happier. At a time when we most need the leaders running our country to be vigilant and wise, we have a bevy of circus clowns, supported by the liberals of today who can't seem to find their noses with both hands.

We are supposed to believe that the likes of John Edwards are going to protect our country from terrorism? Wake up and smell the I.E.Ds!

A recent poll of American Muslims was extremely disheartening and frightening. When asked, one in four suggested that a suicide bombing was perfectly acceptable to defend Islam "in some cases." Amazing. Modern Christians and Jews are peaceful people with thoughts of reaching out to help others in need. Why radical Islam remains in the Seventh-Century is a sad phenomenon — but not one to be denied.

Excerpts from The Washington Times:

"Suicide blasts OK to some U.S. Muslims

"One in four younger U.S. Muslims said in a poll that suicide bombings to defend Islam are acceptable in at least some circumstances, although most Muslim Americans overwhelmingly rejected the tactic and said they are critical of Islamic extremism and al Qaeda.

"The survey by the Pew Research Center, one of the most exhaustive ever of the country's Muslims, revealed a community that in many ways blends comfortably into society. Its largely mainstream members express nearly as much happiness with their lives and communities as does the general public, show a broad willingness to adopt American customs and have income and education levels similar to others in the U.S. Even so, the survey revealed noteworthy pockets of discontent.

"Though nearly 80 percent of U.S. Muslims said suicide bombings of civilians to defend Islam cannot be justified, 13 percent said they can be, at least rarely.

"That sentiment was strongest among those younger than 30. Two percent of them said it often can be justified, 13 percent said sometimes and 11 percent said rarely.

"'It is a hair-raising number,' said Radwan Masmoudi, president of the District-based Center for the Study of Islam." Link

While Edwards gives speeches that undermine the War on Terror and embolden terrorists, Americans need to understand that — come the next presidential Election Day — we must not stay at home or vote for a Democrat. We have a country to save for generations and generations to come.

The DNC, along with the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi and her Stalinist sabotaging ilk, will take our nation down like the Tower of Babel if we do not put an end to them at the ballot box.

Not one of their candidates running for the President or any other position of high office possesses the competence to serve this great country called The United States of America — at least, not in the manner we require now. The Democrats have a lot of soul searching to do. They must change their ways before they can be trusted.
