Commission schedules presidential debates

SOUTHERN ARIZONA (SGT NEWS) - The Commission on Presidential Debates announced today their proposed debate schedule in the horserace for the White House in 2008, which includes three Presidential debates and one Vice Presidential debate.

The debate schedule is as follows:

First Presidential Debate will be held Friday, September 26th at the University of Mississippi.

Second Presidential Debate will be held Tuesday, October 7th at Belmont University

Third Presidential Debate will be held Wednesday, October 15th at Hofstra University

Vice Presidential Debate will be held on October 2nd at Washington University

All debates will begin at 9 p.m. ET and will last for 90 minutes. A single moderator will oversee the debate, ask questions and maintain decorum.

The first presidential debate will focus primarily on domestic issues, the second debate will consist of questions asked by audience members on a variety of topics, and the third debate on foreign policy.
