By: SGT News | Submitted on: 02/11/08SOUTHERN ARIZONA (SGT NEWS) - Former Boeing employee and California resident Dongfan "Greg" Chung was arrested and charged today with stealing government secrets for the Chinese government. The Justice Department also announced charges in a separate case involving a Defense Department official and two others accused of espionage with China involving classified U.S. government documents.
A Boeing spokesman said that Boeing is cooperating with the government throughout this investigation and the company itself is not under any investigation.
''Foreign spying remains a serious threat in the post-Cold War world,'' said Assistant Attorney General Kenneth Wainstein in a statement.
